The LB5000 Replacement Bulb is a replacement bulb for both the germguardian 28 inch 3-In-1 Air Cleaning System (Model AC5000) and the germguardian 28 inch 3-In-1 Digital Air Cleaning System with Pet Pure Filter (Model AC5250PT). This UV-C bulb should be replaced every 10 – 12 months depending upon use. The bulb wattage is 8W. UV-C light technology works with the filters to enhance the elimination of airborne germs. Many hospitals use UV-C light technology to sanitize. UV-C light technology is proven to kill common germs on surfaces, in the air and in water.
