This non-potable water expansion tank is designed for use in commercial and residential closed loop hydronic heating system piping to control the thermal expansion of hot water and maintain system pressure below the relief setting of the relief valve. This carbon steel tank is pre-charged at 12 PSI, tank volume is 2.1 gallons and features a durable expansion membrane that prevents contact of the water with the air in the tank. This rugged butyl diaphragm minimizes loss of the air change and ensures long and trouble-free life for the system. This tank is made of carbon steel with epoxy finish, mounts to supply piping, 1/2″ MNPT system connection and a 0.302-32″ charging valve connection (standard tire valve) to facilitate on-site charging of the tank to meet system requirements. This handy tool installs between your power tools and your dust collector or wet/dry vacuum of choice. Designed to convert your single-stage dust collector to a 2-stage version, it works with standard plastic 5 Gal. buckets (not included, maximum lip diameter of 11-3/4 in.). Simply attach the included 90-degree elbow to the inside of the inlet port, attach the lid to the bucket, and connect standard 2.5 in. dust hoses (not included) to the ports. Then start making some sawdust, and watch as the separator lid creates a cyclone in your bucket, forcing large chips and shavings to the bottom of the bucket while allowing small particles to pass to your dust collector. This helps extend the life of your dust collector’s filter and prevents it from getting clogged as easily.
